Croissant with chicken or turkey ham. The ham had a fine texture and smoky flavour, but the croissant was slightly dehydrated and cold as it has been exposed to the air-conditioning on the buffet line. 2. Deep Fried Spring Roll, was just your plain old halal spring roll. 3. Idako, it was crunchy, firm and tender in texture. The sauce had a localised taste with a prevalent aroma and taste of sesame. The sauce was milder in the sugary sweetness as compared to the usual sweeter version found in many local Japanese restaurants. The idako and sauce went very well with the greenish pickle that we took.
Looking for a place that can immediately get away from the hustle and bustle of city life? This is the place that you are looking for. Although it is located in the midst of town area, with the quiet and romantic setting it would definitely free up you mind. Each table is equipped with a small candle light coupled with soft background music which makes the place ideal for romantic couples or small families. Part of the pictures is supplied by Patrick Soon of Moonspell Studio.
Little Cottage Cafe 1 and 2 is a well known restaurant in Penang Island which serves delicious Western and Italian Cuisine. From juicily grilled beef steak to Italian "Marinara" pasta and fragrant Italian mushroom rice, they have a wide variety of choice in the menu to pamper your taste buds.
The Sunday review was focused around their 5-course set lunch and dinner. But before the review session began, there was some extra time to roam around the restaurant to take in the atmosphere of the outlet and also their Sunday only buffet lunch. The buffet is priced at RM25.90+ for adult and RM13.90+. From our observation, the dishes with its ingredients looks solid and perhaps may be more value as compared to the buffet review we done recently for Terrace Bay, but the variety here was not as numerous as that at Terrace Bay. May be we will drop by one lazy Sunday afternoon to try out their buffet line and share our experience.
Little Cottage is not new in town. In fact I had visited it few times, mostly with female colleagues due to romantic setup (just normal lunch, no extra “co-curriculum”).
There are two outlets in Penang island – Little Cottage 1 at Burmah Road (nearby CTY Aquarium) and Little Cottage 2 at Waterfall Hotel. A group of food bloggers were being invited to LC2 for a food review.
My friend had decided to move down to Singapore for her further studies. We all agreed to hold a farewell party for her. After a meeting,we finally booked half of the Little Cottage for her party.
Little Cottage serves mouth-watering and fine Western and Italian cuisine. They have juicy steaks to those creamy mushroom soup on their menus which are specially designed to pamper your tastebuds......
I am very honoured to be invited along with a bunch of food bloggers to an exclusive food review at Little Cottage 2, Penang recently. This is my very first official food review, please excuse me if there are any mistakes made. Thanks to Steven Goh and Christian Lai for arranging this food review.
Little Cottage 2 is located along Jalan Gottlieb within Waterfall Hotel. As its name sounds, the exterior is very Western cottage-like with its wooden entrance door and red-bricked windows........
Very honoured that invited by food bloggers Criz & Steven to have a very good food review at the Cafe 2. Little Cottage Cafe 1 & 2 serves delicious Western and Italian Cuisine. From juicily grilled beef steak to Italian "Marinara" pasta and fragrantItalian mushroom rice, they have much much more variety in their menu to serve you. This place suitable for nice food enjoying with air-conditioning and cozy ambience for a bunch of people such as couple, family, special ocassions, farewell or birthday. Specially for dating couple looking for some romantic restaurant, Little Cottage Cafe can name as 1 of it................
Walking into this restaurant reminded me of the good old childhood days when I had regular meals with my family in such a comfortable and family-oriented ambiance. A branch out from the Little Cottage Café (LCC1) located along the busy street of Jalan Burma, this restaurant within the premises of Hotel Waterfall carries the name of Little Cottage Café 2 (LCC2). Established somewhere at the end of 2006, LCC2 has been serving Western and Italian meals as its successor, LCC1. On top of its Ala Carte dishes, their set meals and Sunday Buffet Lunch remains the two top choices of the public.
A few of us managed to pay a visit to LCC2 prior to my hectic office relocation some time back. It was a totally different experience altogether as the Sunday Buffet Lunch (RM25.90+ adult/RM13.90+ child) crowd was there. Set Lunch (from RM9.90+) and Set Dinner (from RM25.90+) were also available for the day.
