Our family has always been a fan of Korean Food, especially the barbeque cuisines. Complemented with the kimchi, the dishes is definitely a nice change from the Chinese dishes we are accustomed to on the normal days.
Since it was a public holiday on the Merdeka Day, we decided to cross over to the mainland to visit the newly opened Jusco Bandar Perda in Bukit Mertajam, Penang on our food hunt. This was my second time dining in a Korean BBQ restaurant. The only other so called Korean food that I tried was Seoul Garden, a typical buffet styled restaurant. Che Go Korean BBQ opened its first outlet in Penang at AEON Seberang Prai City, the largest mall in mainland Penang. Being relatively new, we decided to step in and give it a try.
Apart from the ala-carte dish in the menu, they also served set lunches and other BBQ set. Each set came with a few refillable side dish such as long beans, cucumber and kimchi.

Even though it's my first time to Che Go, I nicknamed it as "Che Gong" (Panic in Hokkien) or even "Che Gu" (Green cow , direct translation from Hokkien). LOL

Because of HIS birthday... He gets to try out new food from Che Go, which is located at Aeon Seberang Prai City.
Anne & I met up with our uni gang for dinner yesterday. It has been quite some time since we last met (we met up at Bumbu Bali the last time), & meeting up was just awesome :)
We ended up at the Che Go Korean BBQ Restaurant at LG2, new wing in Sunway Pyramid. Our initial plan was to have dinner at the Magital Theatre Restaurant (MTR), but it was under construction, so we had to decide on either Pasta de Gohan or Che Go (both serve food at more reasonable prices as compared to the rest of the restaurants around, plus, the gang prefer pasta & Korean food more than others)...
