Azuma is the latest Japanese Restaurant which opens its door on 27th December in Queensbay Mall, Penang. This restaurant is very spacious with many tables and customers can choose to have a window seat to enjoy the view of the Penang Bridge. Hubby and myself were introduced to a few of their ‘must try’ dishes by the supervisor. One of them was the Shake Tataki Maki @RM15. Unlike the usual raw salmon maki which I had eaten at other places, this maki had the salmon lightly seared. This method brings a different...
It has been a long time since I have lunch with my 2 ex-colleagues. We worked in the same team for more than a year and became good friends since then. The menu stand at the entrance. You can flip through the menu and most important, look at the price, before you make any decision to dine or not...
Another thanks to PenangTuaPui.com for allowing me to tag along to the recently operated dining place in Queensbay Mall, Penang. Azuma Japanese Restaurant, started their food journey from Sabah, follow by our capital city Kuala Lumpur and then all the way up north to Penang!

Let us see, how many Japanese Restaurants do we have at Queesnbay Mall? Sushi King, Sakae Sushi, Nippon Yataimura, Japin, Shimaya Teppanyaki. Now another has popped up inside Queensbay Mall and just located above the Borders Bookstore, Azuma Japanese Restaurant is the name. The latest addition of Japanese Restaurant is probably an indication that Penang has lots of Japanese food lovers residing here.
Azuma Japanese Restaurant recently opened its door to Penang customers as its 5th outlet. Azuma at presence has 3 outlets in Sabah and one in Kuala Lumpur...
YY and I ended up choosing this place for our gathering lunch. How come my executive set lunch @ 32 is not realizable uh?! :(
Interior Deco - almost similiar to 风味情 FengWeiQing (Taiwan food restaurant) at basement. High classic style.
Adui....small portion loh....This is a cold noodle dish. Taste wise, very smooth and delicate. I was 'imagining' my friend eating gold strings right at that moment. :p...
