Just now had dinner at Ichyo Japanese Restaurant, new place near BJ/roundabout. Not bad, like the environment. We sat near the wall and got this small LCD screens, got magazines to browse while waiting for food and also nice romantic songs to listen, it's not like the usual Japanese songs u expect to hear.
Found out it has the same mgt as Soba Yoshi. No wonder the manager look so familiar. Food also nice, maybe I was too hungry. Service also satisfactory.
We went there already 9.30pm, it's operating hours till 10pm...

Onion with deep fried fish The taste is very sour...... lol if you like sour foods.... then you might loves this.

Last weekend, my wifey was craving for some Japanese food, so she suggested that we should have dinner at this place in I-Avenue near Bayan Point. So we arrived quite early for dinner, and found the place to be empty although it was a Saturday night...
There was an usher outside who ushered us into the restaurant (doh!) and we were greeted with the usual "irashaimase" we get so often in almost every sushi joint or Japanese restaurants. We picked a spot, sat down and were presented with the menu. The waitress also brought us our green tea and "appetizer"...
