Matsuki Japanese Restaurant serves by far the best teppanyaki I’ve ever had in Penang. Forget about Yaki Teppan in Bayan Baru I blogged earlier, this is the real deal. The teriyaki sauce is so thick and tasty, you will feel that you are getting your money’s worth.

The variety of Japanese foods here is awesome. You can get almost anything you want here from sushi to teriyaki to sashimi.

Few days ago a few of us decided to bring a birthday girl to Matsuki Japanese Restaurant for a dinner treat.

This restaurant is located in a bungalow, situated along Cantonment Road, Pulau Tikus.There’s ample parking space in the bungalow garden, so no worries!

The first sign of good business is that most of the tables are taken up although it’s a week day. Do give them a call if you want to book the tatami room for more privacy or group celebration...

Yeah~~~~!!!!It was the 1st time we have dinner at Japanese Restaurant- Matsuki. It is located along Cantonment Road, which is opposite Bangkok Lane. High recommended as there have variety of Japanese foods.

He love Japanese food as well as I do, * bonus mark to HIM. >< Found out that his taste is similar to mine...Once again say Thank You to HIM that treat me to dinner...Actually the price there are quite expensive, juz not want HIM to spent too much...So long long time juz go once then be enough, help him to save money....hahaha...See I'm so good~~~!!!... 

There are a lot of Japanese Restaurants around Penang Island. Usually, if the food is nice then the price will be very expensive, vice versa.

It’s seems like nice and affordable hardly come together. However, there still a restaurant that has cheap and nice Japanese food. “Matsuki” is the name. It’s at the Cantonment Road (Cross Road that connect Gurney Drive with Pulau Tikus)

So far the food that I found there are thumbs up and affordable the best of all is the ‘Sukiyaki’ from this place...
