One of my favorite places for Beef noodles has to be the shop at the intersection of Beach and Chulia Street. This place is also known as the BOMBA BEEF KOAY TEOW as the landmark that stands out would be the fire station, located right opposite it. The shop has been selling beef noodles for many years now, and is still a hit with the locals and foreigners alike.
Since the shop serves mainly the office workers from the nearby offices, so it is available everyday except Sunday.

One of my favourite places to go to for Nasi Lemak (the cheap wrapped in banana leaf type) is Sri Weld Food Court along the busy Beach Street. The Nasi Lemak Ali there is located right at the front of the hawker centre and what makes it so excellent is the fiery hot sambal!
Every time I eat it, I will need to have a glass of water on standby next to me, to douse my burning tongue. But I love it all the same because the sambal is just to fragrantly yummy!

It is not a very old establishment, but some shops here are worth mentioning. What's more, parking is rather convenient. There is a small lane at the left of this photo above. Turn in and you'll find parking at the side and back of this food court.
I'll start off with the good ones. First we have Ali Nasi Lemak (coconut milk rice with chili/curry). It is a simple affair. 3 types of nasi lemak - eggs+anchovies, fish, or prawn, all readily packed.
We picked eggs and anchovies, the conventional ones. The lovely green banana leaves serve as wrap, and it enhances the aroma of the rice...
