I have read a lot of bloggers reviews and newspaper introductions about this restaurant before. My friends which ordered the chicken and lamb stick. Both also comment that the food is just ok only. I ordered the seafood spaghetti, I will said “delicious” without any doubts.
We took a lot pictures at this restaurant. The environment is damn good. The museum interior design look luxury and elegant.
After visit the restaurant, only found out that…seem like their desserts is more nice. Will try the desserts next time. The Pastry Chef is working at Ferringhi Garden and The Sire Museum Restaurant as well.
I couldn’t resist deviating from my China Gourmet Tour Series yet again, to blog about this exciting new place in town!
Located along King Street (opposite the new Great Eastern building and across the road from Dewan Sri Pinang) is this elegant, charming restaurant serving ‘the best of Old & New World Cuisine’. The name itself ‘Sire’ lulls one into reminiscing of the old English days when one with power and authority were addressed as such.
I immediately fell in love with the interior. High ceilings all done up in white giving it an airy spacious feeling. Dotted with blossoms and blossoms of flowers, framed artwork and stained glass.
The Sire Museum Restaurant in the financial district of Georgetown is open to the public recently after a soft opening. The restaurant is inside a building ideally situated in No.4, King Street which belongs to the Yeap Chor Ee family. This building has been restored and beautifully refurbished and turned into a museum cum restaurant which serves delicious food.
We celebrated Father’s Day two days earlier at this beautiful restaurant.
The fine dining restaurant on the ground floor is managed by the same owner of Ferringhi Garden. We had a chat with their Executive chef, Mr Yeoh Woei Liang who also runs the kitchen in Ferringhi Garden. We learned that even though it is under the same management, the menu and the food has been developed differently for each restaurant respectively.
