Ko Fu Loft has a big banner in the main hall of Gurney Plaza. If you are taking the escalator, you will be able to see it. I have the chance to go for a food review together with all the food bloggers, thanks to Jian and Criz. If I am not mistaken, we have more than 20 people.
Overall, the dim sum is definitely the best among all dishes that we tried. I like them! For the main course, improvement is needed. This is only applicable to me. Maybe you will like those dishes, since all of us have different taste bud. Furthermore, there are still a lot of dishes in the menu that we never tried. So, if you like Chinese cuisine, you can try it out yourself...
The Food Loft at Gurney Plaza has come and go. The lots are now being occupied by a new tenant by the name of Ko Fu Loft. When we were driving past Gurney Plaza and while looking to the vacated lots, I told Gill that if it were up to me, I would have occupied the vacated lots with a Dim Sum restaurant. Not long later, we got news that a dim sum restaurant would be opened to replace The Food Loft. There are numerous reasons behind the idea; the location, the type of crowd and potential customers, and the competition, but I won’t go into that here may be in my other blog.

Imagine yourself sitting by the seaside, enjoying the sea breeze, tasting a cup of tea and savoring variety of dim sum. It is an absolute enjoyment of life. Of course, other than the hot babes on bikini by the seaside, the rest that you name it as a gratifying of life will be available at Ko Fu Loft.
Besides the good things mentioned above, the seaside breeze is substituted with air-conditioners and there are shades with UV-protected glass so that you could enjoy the scenery and sun tan without sweat which give additional marks to this restaurant as a good place to dine in...
Thanks Jian & & Criz for the food review invitation on Last Sunday. This is by far the biggest group we had since we started to have food review in group. Thanks Ko-Fu-Loft management too for being so generous in accomodating 21 pax of us in one go!
Basically Ko-Fu-Loft inherited everything from the ex-Food Loft with minor renovation. What else could be done on the layout since it's been like that right? The only thing they could do is the interior decoration...
During my recent Penang vacation, I attended my first invited food review at Ko-Fu-Loft (口福楼), Gurney Plaza. I was very delighted to be included in what is by far the largest gathering of Penang food bloggers attending a food review. I find the occasion an enjoyable one. We had a great time sharing our personal opinion on food, blogging experiences and photography tips. I would like to thank Criz Lai of Criz Bon Appetite and Jian of Cokeworld Citizen for graciously extending me the invitation to join the group. And also, I like to express my special thanks to Ms Alicia Ng and the management of Ko-Fu-Loft for arranging such a wonderful food tasting session for all of us...
