The lack of blog updates and replies to your comments of late is largely due to my increasing workload. But I managed to squeeze in some time to blog before I rush off to another appointment in 30mins time!

The mad rush has made me wistful of lazy Sunday afternoons enjoying a cup of tea… sometimes you do need to slow down, gather your thoughts and pamper yourself! And when I need to seek refuge, I never fail to think about afternoon teas at Annabelle’s Place.

Annabelle's Place @ Lembah Permai, Tanjung Bungah. I believe ladies will appreciate this place more than you gentlemen out there. :) I have finally come to this Annabelle's Place after getting the direction from Lingzie's post.

"Wah...I like the deco!" uttered from the bottom of my heart once I stepped into the restaurant.

"This corner got 'little-cottage' feel uh?!"

"This angle looks like 'winter-warmer' uh?!"

Annabelle's Place seems to be quite a new restaurant found in the new shop lots along Lembah Permai 4. It took me quite sometime to find the place as I was not really familiar with that area. But alas after 15 minutes of driving around I found it. To my surprise Torch was opening just next to it but it is still under renovation.

First thing when I stepped in the place, I loved the atmosphere here. It had a really nice relaxing old English cottage feeling. See the pictures below and you would know what I mean. Good for having tea and gossip sessions with your gal friends.

Heading to Annabelle’s Place this weekend as my wife had requested a few weeks ago. She loves scones and english tea. The best scones we ever had was at Carcosa Seri Negara in KL, so we are hoping the scones in Penang can bring back that memories again. Will post some photo after the weekend. Happy Friday!!!

They were, however, super-duper delicious. Freshly made as promised, they were glorious with huge dabs of the clotted cream and the strawberry preserves provided with each set.

After a long day, fight with weather, stand against wave, 3 hours of beach photo. we were there, annabelle's place at lembah permai near to TARC.

Old english style design's dining hall... old english style design's menu Chococcino, the cookie is very nice expecially mix and match with the 'bubble' My choco Avalanche, so cold so yummy! as she still going on with the on diet program, sandwich or salad is the best recommended food for her. Sandwich Tuna Nicoise for Her Fish N Chip for Me... the choice is not much, only 2 options for 'the catch'. from the menu, the choices for lunch/dinner is not much as what i expected, mainly on sandwich and pasta. Many choices of tea available there...
